Strip fits into the rebate of the door frame (head and jambs) as three cut pieces forming a wiping seal or compression.
The seal is butt joined at each corner.
To seal the bottom of the door, a weather bar is mounted into the threshold section.
It is vital that the seal does not adjoin the weather bar but runs to the threshold section in front (weatherside) of it, to maximise its water permeability resistance.
