Weather seal router cutters cut out recesses for weatherseals around doors and windows

These weather seal cutters  are designed to rout the recesses specifically for Schlegel Aquamac and Exitex Aquatex weather strip systems. There are two main types of this cutter:

An Aquamac 21 recesser router cutter

Aquamac 21 cutters (Exitex Aquatex A10 recesser)

These weatherseals can be fitted into a rebate, that can be created perfectly with the Aquamac 21 cutter, in the head and jambs of a door frame, to create a wiping seal (a strip of rubber against a window or door that forms a seal). They can also be used to seal the bottom of a door, however, a weatherbar should be mounted into the threshold section for this application. Choose between the larger cutter  for MEC mechanical feed routers only or the smaller cutter  which can be used in a smaller medium duty router.

Aquamac 63 cutters (Exitex Aquatex P6 recesser)

Aquamac 63 and Exitex P6 weatherseals can be fitted into a rebate in the head and jambs of a casement window frame. They can be positioned part way down the side of the rebate, or at the bottom. Aquamac 63 and Exitex P6 cutters are available from the Professional range, for use in MEC mechanical feed routers only either with a guide bearing  or without , or as a Weatherseal cutter with guide bearing but also a smaller shank  that can be used in a medium duty router. We also supply a CraftPro version  of this cutter that features the guide bearing for quick and easy setup.

Pile carrier weatherseal cutters

These cutters are intended to produce the recesses for pile carrier weatherseals, which can be positioned on the outside edge of a door or the inside edges of a door frame, to create a waterproof seal when it closes.

There are three main types of pile carrier cutter:

Offset leg pile carrier cutters

These cutters create a channel with a smaller groove along one edge. They will fit pile carriers with a leg offset to one side.weather seal cutter

Plain pile carrier cutters

These cutters create a channel with no groove and fit plain pile carriers, which have no anchoring leg.

Slotseal Carripile recesser cutters

Weather seal cutters for routing machines. Router cutters make the recess for weather strips and weatherseals around windows and doors

These cutters are designed to rout the recesses for Slotseal Caripille weather strip systems. There are two types:

A Slotseal Carripile I router cutter

Carripile I recesser cutters

A Slotseal Carripile II router cutter

Carripile II recesser cutters

These cutters rout accurately sized recesses for Carripile II weather strips, which are centre leg pile carriers. Carripile pile carriers require recesses that are different in size from ordinary pile carriers.
