All cutters have high-quality micro-granular tungsten carbide tips with a highly ground tip face for extra durability and to ensure a perfect sharpness on softwoods, hardwoods, MDF, plywood and chipboard.

The tip is induction silver brazed to ensure cutters withstand extreme impacts.

CraftPro router bits also have a PTFE non-stick coating on the body which prevents resin and heat build-up, helping to prolong the cutter's life. PTFE sprays are also available to prevent resin building up on cutters.

Cutter characteristics

  • Large cutters are dynamically balanced to prevent vibration and have up to 3mm thick carbide tips to allow for re-sharpening

  • Most cutters in the range have ¼” (6.35mm) diameter shanks, although certain popular shapes are offered on 8mm (5/16") and ½” (12.7mm) diameter shanks
